Federal Income Tax Payments

To make federal tax payments by a checking or savings account, IRS now provides this option where a variety of various taxes are available to pay going back 20 years. To use this option, Go to IRS Direct Pay. 

Credit card payments for income taxes may be made by phone (1-800-2PAY-TAX or 1-888-PAY-1040) or on the internet at Official Payments Corporation or Pay1040.com using Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.


California State Income Tax Payments

The Franchise Tax Board offers payments of your estimated tax, balance due, a prior-year balance or a bill to be paid online. To make your payments online, click Franchise Tax Board Payment Center. To make payment by credit card, you may call (1-800-2PAY-TAX) or on the internet at Official Payments Corporation using Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
